Our premise

We don’t build blocks. We build habits of place.

Thrive Social Company was formed in 2023 to bring one team’s work under one roof: a group of operators, designers, and builders whose work in downtown Chandler goes back nearly a decade. Today Thrive provides management, marketing, and development services to a portfolio of independently owned hospitality venues — and consults on projects that turn neglected districts into places people choose, again and again.

Hospitality

Restaurants engineered as neighborhood anchors — from concept through Tuesday-night service.

Design-Build

Chalk Design Build handles architecture, historic preservation, and general contracting in-house.

Placemaking

Programming, events, public realm, and brand work to activate districts, not just buildings.

What we do

Five practices, one neighborhood-shaped outcome.

01

Restaurant Development & Management

We develop restaurant concepts and manage day-to-day operations for venue owners — from concept through Tuesday-night service. Each venue we serve is independently owned; Thrive provides its services under a management agreement with each venue’s owner.

02

Design-Build with Chalk Design Build

We work hand-in-glove with Chalk Design Build, an affiliated design-build firm, on architecture, historic preservation, and general contracting; from sketch to certificate of occupancy.

03

Community Placemaking

District programming, events, public-realm and brand work that activates neighborhoods, not just buildings.

04

Hospitality Consulting

Market analysis, brand strategy, operational optimization, and team development for operators who want to build something that matters to a neighborhood.

05

Good Neighbors

We donate to established Chandler nonprofits already serving the neighborhoods where we work — first responder family support, local family assistance, small-business mentorship, and youth career pathways in hospitality.

How we work

A patient, six-step method, refined over years on Boston Street.

i.

Discovery

Neighborhood history, demographics, market dynamics, and the stories locals tell.

ii.

Engagement

Residents, business owners, and local leaders shape the project alongside us.

iii.

Strategy

A plan that balances financial viability with authentic community impact.

iv.

Build

Chalk Design Build delivers architecture and construction with historic fluency.

v.

Launch

Strategic openings with programming, events, and marketing that create sustained traffic.

vi.

Operate

Day-to-day operations, programming, and stewardship for years — not quarters.

Featured work

Districts, not developments.

Downtown Chandler Revitalization

4 venues & more to come

Our team has worked in downtown Chandler’s historic core for nearly a decade alongside the community, landlords, and small-business owners helping turn a struggling district into a culinary and retail destination that celebrates the area’s agricultural heritage. Today Thrive provides management and marketing services to four venues in the district.

Good Neighbors

Alongside the people already doing the work.

Thrive Social donates to charitable partners serving the Chandler community. We work alongside established local nonprofits — not instead of them — to support the neighborhoods our projects call home.

i.
First Responder Support

Contributions to partners serving first responders — funding family hardship assistance, memorial support, and programs that honor those who keep our community safe.

ii.
Local Family Support

Contributions to charities that fund direct financial assistance, food security programs, and emergency support for Chandler families.

iii.
Small-Business Mentorship

Thrive team members volunteer time and expertise to help local entrepreneurs navigate launch and growth challenges.

iv.
Youth Career Pathways

Support for charities providing culinary training, job-skills workshops, and internships that open doors in hospitality for young people across the East Valley.

Frequently asked

Answers to the questions most often on our desk.

What kind of projects does Thrive Social take on?
Historic-downtown revitalization, restaurant development and management, placemaking, and hospitality consulting. Our sweet spot is neighborhoods of 5,000–50,000 residents with historic character and strong civic identity.
Does Thrive own the venues it works with?
No. Each venue is independently owned. Thrive provides management, marketing, and development services under agreements with each venue’s owner.
How can I work with Thrive?
We partner with cities, landlords, and operators on district and venue projects. Reach out and tell us what you’re working on.
What is your typical project timeline?
Restaurants take 9–14 months from concept to opening; district work is a multi-year commitment.
Do you work outside Arizona?
Our roots are in Arizona, and we’ll consider exceptional opportunities elsewhere — communities with strong fundamentals and engaged leadership.
